Avalanche general manager Brad Treliving says he’s looking for forwards and defensemen to add to the Avalanche’s lineup this offseason.

Treliving made the comments during a Q&A session with reporters on Friday, according to TSN 1290.

He also said that the team is exploring a number of trade options for the team’s young forwards, including forward Adam Jansen.

Tresing said the Avalanche would like to add some scoring to their roster.

The Avalanche have scored a total of 29 goals in the first 13 games of the season, tied for the second-most in the league behind the Buffalo Sabres (37).

They’ve also scored 20 goals in their last eight games, tied with the Columbus Blue Jackets for the NHL’s third-most goals scored in a season.

The Avalanche have been in the midst of a losing streak that dates back to March 14, when they were eliminated by the Anaheim Ducks in seven games.

The loss was their fourth in a row, and the Avalanche are in a playoff race for the first time since they won the Stanley Cup in 2014.
